I was the featured artist in tri-lingual (Russian, Azerbaijani, English) fashion + lifestyle magazine printed in Baku, Azerbaijan. The theme of this month’s magazine was “Immigrant,” and since I was an American who moved to Azerbaijan I was considered.
The section is called “Fashion as Art” and invites artists to create their own art inspired by featured fashion designers. In this case the fashion designers were also immigrants and I was often able to incorporate elements/nature from their different connected cultures.

Here are some ‘classics’ I’ve sold over the years. The ‘Fox Box’ is the design which won a call for public art in Minneapolis and is currently wrapped around electrical boxes around. Second print is called “Gnome More Sense.” Third was made into T-shirts which sold like hot cakes after that raccoon made it to the top of the building in St. Paul when the whole world was watching. If you’d like any of these prints please just e-mail me (hello@ella-ella.studio).
